Scope and identity

This policy governs every guide published on this site. Fantera Editorial is the publishing identity behind them. It is not a fictional person, an award-winning critic, or a claim of a large editorial staff.

Research and authorship

The current article library was created with AI assistance, using catalogue records, official release information, and linked references. We do not claim firsthand viewing, interviews, or human specialist review where those have not occurred. Source-based checking can verify a release fact; it does not turn an interpretation into firsthand criticism.

Where an article compares the feel, pacing, or appeal of two titles, that comparison is editorial judgement drawn from the available record, and it is written to be read as such. We do not describe a source page as inspected when it could not be reached, and we do not present an inference about a title as something a reviewer observed.

Sourcing standards

Sources appear with each article. AniList records support catalogue identity and metadata. Official production or distributor references are preferred for release structure, runtime, and adaptation details. Recommendation comparisons are editorial interpretations, not facts established by a similarity score.

What a recommendation must state

Our watch guides identify the viewing need, why a pick fits, a significant difference or drawback, and the commitment being described. We distinguish an individual season from an entire story. A finished broadcast is not automatically a complete source adaptation.

Content notes flag prominent concerns without attempting to list every scene or replace a release's local classification. Availability, dubs, runtimes, and edition details can differ by region and release. A source link is not a guarantee that the referenced service streams that title where you live.

Accuracy and limitations

We do not turn automatic Finder results into articles by simply copying a ranked list. We do not present a match percentage as a calibrated chance of enjoyment. Original catalogue analysis includes a dated snapshot, reproducible calculations, and limitations; it must not be described as a survey of all anime.

Updates and corrections

The review schedule is quarterly for recommendation lists and every six months for foundational explainers, with earlier corrections when a factual issue is found. Review dates change when meaningful checking or revision occurs, not merely to make an article look fresh.

To report a correction, use the project issue tracker. Include the article URL, the statement at issue, and a supporting reference. Reports there are public: do not include personal information. If a report should not be public, send it to contact@fantera.com instead. Material corrections should be explained on the affected article; the repository preserves the edit history.

Commercial independence

This library has no paid placements or affiliate recommendation links. Any future sponsored or affiliate material must be identified on the page. A commercial relationship must not be presented as independent editorial evidence.
